The Subaru Select Monitor IV provides 100% dealer level systems coverage and functionality; model years 2004 thru 2022. The SSM IV kit includes a computer laptop, proprietary, 16-pin diagnostic cable, Denso DST-i interface, SD Card, and properly licensed Subaru SSM IV diagnostic software application.

Upon delivery, the computer laptop (with software pre-loaded) will be properly activated and registered for your immediate use. Twelve months of software updates are included. The Subaru Select Monitor IV will function without the purchase of a new subscription.

The Subaru Select Monitor IV has identical systems coverage and functionality as used at Subaru’s dealer network, including smart key codes, key registration, keyless entry, blind spot detection, combination meter, telematics, and adaptive cruise control.

The SSM4 is the Subaru, factory diagnostic tool, providing the latest factory diagnostics code and re-programming files for Subaru vehicles. Most commonly, it is used by professional automotive technicians. The kit currently covers model year coverage thru 2021 and free software updates thru the 2022 model year. The software vehicle coverage and functionality is the same as the software used at Subaru franchised dealerships.

The SSM4 kit includes a laptop, 16-pin diagnostic cable, DST-i (DENSO Scan Tool Interface), SD Card, and licensed Subaru SSM4 diagnostic software application.

For all instances where an interface is needed to diagnose 2004 and newer vehicles, the DST-i should be used.

The DST-i can be used in combination with SSM3 software for all 2004 to 2015 vehicles. (From the SSM3 main menu, use the F10 button to select the proper interface.)

The DST-i must be used in combination with SSM4 software for all 2016 and newer vehicles. 

*SSM4 is only compatible with Windows 10, and if used with any other OS the diagnostics interface may give errors.
